YOU THE PEOPLE TAPS OTHER INTELLIGENCES
Like
begets like as the old saying goes. As in education where
a major priority, conscious or not, is to produce more
educators. Those who have linguistic and logical-mathematical
types of minds tend to be recognized and rewarded in our
system over those with other intelligence. You the PEOPLE
does NOT do this.
By grouping
students according to diversity of thought and giving them
common goals that they have
helped set, it releases a ton of pent up energy that
would have otherwise gone towards other perhaps less useful
pursuits.
The results are amazing.
As another
old saying goes, "the
whole is greater than the sum of the parts".
